Mobile DVR's:
CSI currently supply mobile digital video recording (DVR) CCTV system designed for use in cars, buses, trucks and fleet cars like taxis that demand clear recording images. CCTV provides hard evidence of incidences that if required could be used in court.as evidence arising from day to day driving or from vehicle accidents etc.
- Event Recorder: is an option provided by the DVR that enables the recording of images. When a driver starts a car equipped with a digital recorder, it begins storing images captured by up to 4 camera’s configured with up to 4 triggers which switches the recording unit into event mode
- In event mode: The DVR can be set to record a number minutes of images prior to the event. The digital images are stored on either a separate, compact and durable mounted SD Card (Secure Digital Card) which can be read with a standard SD Card reader, or a hard disc.
- Pre-Event Recording: Records the frames immediately before an incident is detected. It works by buffering captured video immediately before an incident occurs and saves the images when a trigger is sensed.
- Triggers: The DVR can be triggered by an impact sensor, panic button, door opening, brake light, turn indicator, alarm system or motion detector etc. A typical camera installation covers all angles of the vehicle including event that occur both in front and rear of the vehicle.
Camera’s: are placed inconspicuously throughout the vehicle with identifying stickers on the vehicle notify passerby that the car is monitored by video.
